Register for the conference
We are excited to welcome everyone to the East Coast for the American Society of Naturalists' 2027 Stand-Alone Meeting.
To register, you will need to submit your registration form along with your proof of payment for the conference.
Here's how it will work:
1. Check to make sure you are currently an ASN member by going here.
2. If you're presenting, have your title and abstract ready.
3. Do you plan on having a roommate?

If you don't already have a roommate, you can find one on the Grad Council's roommate matching page here

You'll need to include your roommate's name when you register.
4. Fill out the registration form here

Each attendee will need to fill out their own registration form.
5. Pay the conference fee via Zeffy.​

The registration form will calculate your cost for the conference. This is based on your career stage and if you are attending the entire conference or only a portion.​

The registration form will provide a link to Zeffy. Head over and enter your registration cost, and pay, please and thank you!

You can pay for more than one registration (if for example, you are a PI paying for your trainees). Just make sure to have everyone's names and emails handy and figure out how much you owe. You can either do this by referring to the table below, or asking the members of the group to fill out the registration form at the same time as you so that the form can tell them how much they owe. Then share the receipt with your group so that they can also upload to the form when they register.
6. Attach proof of payment to your registration form. ​

The registration form will state your cost of attending and prompt you to submit proof of payment from Zeffy.

7. Finish submitting your registration form and get excited!
Registration costs
Registration costs include accommodation, food, and other conference costs (paying the staff and using the conference space). You might experience some sticker shock at the price, but remember that this includes everything except for travel, so it's actually comparable to other conferences.

Only current ASN members may register for the conference, and costs depend on the career stage of the individual and whether they are sharing a room. There is not an option to stay off-site.
We prefer that attendees stay for the whole meeting but understand that some people cannot do that. When you register, the registration form will calculate your total cost based on how much of the conference you plan to attend.

The student category includes undergraduate students, graduate students and postbaccs.

The professional category includes faculty, staff scientists, retirees, journal editors, industry professionals, and governmental and NGO employees.
